THEME: “Celebrating the Legacy of our HBCU’s”
PROCEDURES
1. Churches, youth groups, and individuals are asked to sponsor a table representing
one of the Historically Black Colleges and Universities. (There is no fee to
sponsor a table.)
2. The table sponsor will select an HBCU to represent and decorate the table with the
colors, logos, and emblems of that school and provide a variety of food and
desserts. (As a suggestion, you could get one or two of your young people to help
with the set-up of the table, serve food, or stand by your table to greet guests and
give information about the selected HBCU. Also, this is only a suggestion to get
your youth involved, but ANYONE can help.)
3. Since there is no table fee charged to those who wish to sponsor a table, we are
asking guests to leave a donation at the table(s) of their favorite HBCU. The table
with the largest donation will be named our “HBCU of the Year”.
NOTE: The Young People’s Department will provide drinks, ice, and paper products for all guests.
To sponsor a table, or for more information, please contact Sis. Joy Askin at
(504) 939-0999 or by email at jusaskjoy@gmail.com

On behalf of the First District Missionary Baptist Association Young People’s Department, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated, whether through physical support or generous donations.
Thanks to your contributions, we were able to deliver approximately 50 gift bags to Boys Town, along with additional clothing and shoes for those who may arrive at the home in need.
Your kindness and generosity have made a meaningful impact, and we look forward to continuing this effort next year.
Thank you for helping us make a difference!
